W6GMT has a nice simple rover setup. The use of magnet mounts as well as semi-permanent masts mounted into a receiver hitch works great and looks good too !! His record of contacts during the January 21 2006 contest was quite impressive. |

RED W0RAJ built this nice 3 band rover setup 50 144 and 432mhz on a single mast. Now THIS has possibilities!!! |

Jon Caery's SQ-50 stack in Arkansas and his comparison with a beam brought this email.. "Finally got them stacked with the bottom at 30 ft. Had a really good opening last nite worked a bunch of folks. The antennas held their own! The beam provided a 1-2 s unit increase if pointed at them (MN MI IL). I had 2 distinct instances where a signal was extremely Q-5 on the halos and completely missed by the beam. If I had been on the beam I would have completely missed those 2 and they were easy grabs too. WOW!" |

AD5TH Charles in Union Mississippi set up this nice stack of SQ-50s . This is the best way to side mount a stacked set of 6 meter antennas. 1/4 wave off the tower to reduce interaction with the tower its self. Charles has made contacts all over the U.S. and the Carribean with his antennas. |
